境界／障害を越えてできたカタチ














Shitamichi had stayed in Aomori Contemporary Art Center for three months. It was from end of 2011 to the beginning of 2012. Aomori, where is northern part of Japan, was deeply covered with snow. He walked around towns in Aomori with a digital camera on his hand. The images he captured were lots of lack and white photos of footprints and paths that were made when people crossed over fences at their homes, supermarkets, or parks. These images were set on the floor and all “borders” were lined up straightly. It was as if a gentle story of the border that vanished quietly.
